Peekaboo X-lite bag

The Fendi Peekaboo X-lite was first introduced in the Fall/Winter 2018 collection as a lighter, single-compartment alternative to the original Peekaboo. The X-lite Medium Beige is a specific color variation that has been released in different materials and interior linings over the years, appearing in various collections and in the resale market. Original Peekaboo: The timeless Peekaboo line was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi and first debuted on the runway in September 2008 for the Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
X-lite Introduction: The X-lite version was launched in 2018, aiming for a more relaxed and lighter aesthetic compared to the original Iconic design.
Design Distinctions: Key differences from the Iconic version include a single twist lock closure, no central stiff partition (creating one open compartment), a wider base, and a lighter canvas or fabric shoulder strap. The absence of the middle bar makes it lighter and more versatile.
Evolution: The X-lite represents a modernized evolution of the Peekaboo, maintaining its recognizable "peek" effect where the interior is revealed when the front flap is partially open.
